Hello hello!

My name is Teacher Megan, it’s so great to see you! I’m a San Francisco based musician and teacher with over a decade of experience working with kids. After graduating from college with a degree in music (check out meganbuchanan.com for more info on that side of my life), I started working with kids as a nanny, which led me to the magic that is Music Together. I knew this program was something I was meant to teach, so I spent six years balancing two jobs — working as a nanny on weekdays and teaching on weekends — until I finally transitioned to teaching full time. After so many years of spending all my time with toddlers, I’ve learned a lot about conflict negotiation, classroom management, and patience!

Now I’m excited to bring my popular teaching style and energy to birthday parties and other children’s events around the bay area.
